Effective July 1, 2025, Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence (formerly known as Verosoft/HMIKK) will absorb three sister companies—DP Technology Japan, Volume Graphics, and Hexagon Metrology—in a strategic consolidation aimed at delivering comprehensive smart manufacturing solutions.

Synergizing Specialized Expertise

The merger combines complementary technologies across the manufacturing value chain: DP Technology Japan’s production process optimization, Volume Graphics’ industrial CT scanning and data analysis capabilities, Hexagon Metrology’s precision measurement systems, and Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence’s manufacturing software and automation platforms.

This unified structure is expected to accelerate innovation in quality control, production efficiency, and digital transformation—critical needs as manufacturers worldwide adopt Industry 4.0 technologies.

Organizational Structure

The consolidated entity will operate under the Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence brand, headquartered in Tokyo’s Chiyoda district. Mr. Masao Konno has been appointed Representative Director to oversee strategic operations. The company will maintain a capital base of ¥90 million.

Industry analysts view the move as a strategic response to growing demand for end-to-end smart manufacturing solutions, positioning Hexagon to better serve clients navigating complex digital transitions.
